ABTLC - The Association for Buddhist Teaching and Learning in the Community Inc. is a non-profit organisation, dedicated to the dissemination of Buddhist teachings and fostering community learning. Established in 2011, the organisation is committed to providing accessible education and resources for individuals interested in the study and practice of Buddhism.

Venerable Shabdrung Rinpoche 夏宗仁波切
The 12th Shabdrung Rinpoche
The 12th Shabdrung Rinpoche (Venerable Choe Wang Drakpa) was recognised at a young age as the reincarnation of the 11th Shabdrung Choe Wang Drakpa. At the age of nine, following the tradition of his lineage, Rinpoche entered Sera Mey Monastery in India, where he began his extensive and rigorous Buddhist education.
Rinpoche studied under many eminent Buddhist masters, including Kyabje Choden Rinpoche and Rizong Rinpoche, undertaking systematic studies of Buddhist philosophy and the Five Great Treatises of the Gelug tradition. He also received extensive empowerments, oral transmissions and teachings on profound Vajrayana practices, including Guhyasamaja, Chakrasamvara, Yamantaka and Kalachakra.
In 2013, after many years of dedicated study, contemplation and debate, Rinpoche was awarded the Tsog-rampa Geshe degree. He subsequently entered Gyuto Tantric Monastery to continue his advanced studies and practice of Vajrayana Buddhism.
Throughout the years, Rinpoche has remained deeply committed to the study, contemplation, practice and preservation of the Buddha’s teachings. With compassion, wisdom and an emphasis on authentic practice, he continues to guide students and preserve these precious teachings for the benefit of beings in the modern world.

Puja Schedules
中心會供安排
Our Puja schedules at ABTLC are designed to provide regular opportunities for the community to engage in deep spiritual practice. Pujas are held weekly and during special occasions, offering participants a chance to gather, chant, make offerings, and pray for the well-being of all sentient beings. Each session is led by Venerable Shabdrung Rinpoche and is open to everyone, regardless of experience level. Please refer to our calendar for detailed times and dates to join us in cultivating compassion, wisdom, and inner peace through these sacred rituals.
